n. Self Seal Bags (also known as Gripper bags, grippa bags and minigrip bags) - Sideweld bags with a ridge of polythene near the top that clicks together to seal the bag. This seal can be clicked open or shut. Not to be confused with top tac bags.

Plain grip seal bags

Simple reusable self-sealing bags with a strip to click close & open.

Self-sealing bags with write on panels

It is also possible to get bags with small panels on that can be written on to for cataloguing the contents. Ideal for storing and compartmentalising all those nails, screws and DIY bits and pieces.

Self-seal antistatic grip seal bags

Treated with an antistatic procedure to remove any latent electrical charge and make them safe for transporting sensitive electronic components.

Slider grip bags

These are like a little plastic briefcases, with a zip-like slider to allow the document-holder to be fastened.

Specimen bags

As seen on TV. Very popular amongst real life and fictional detectives. These bags have a little puch containing a record card so that details can be added about the specimen. Also very popular in hospitals.
